Palak Muchhal
Palak Muchhal began singing as a child in Indore to raise money for children's heart operations — a project she has continued for twenty-five years — and became a film voice with Chahun Main Ya Naa (Aashiqui 2, 2013). Meri Aashiqui, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Kaun Tujhe (M.S. Dhoni) and Jumme Ki Raat followed.

Life
She was born in Indore in 1992 and from the age of seven gave concerts with her brother Palash to fund heart surgeries through a charity; the number of children helped runs into the thousands and earned her a Padma Shri in 2022. Jeet Gannguli's Chahun Main Ya Naa (2013) made her a film singer; Himesh Reshammiya (Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Kick), Amaal Mallik (Kaun Tujhe) and Mithoon used her through the 2010s. She married the composer Mithoon in 2022.
