Life
He was born in Ahmedabad in 1994 and sang in college before Himesh Reshammiya's talent show; Pritam, Lijo George-DJ Chetas and Sachin-Jigar used him in films, and his own singles, mostly composed by him, made him one of the first Indian singers whose audience came from streaming rather than cinema. He tours heavily and has sung in Gujarati.
The voice
A soft, breathy, boyish tenor with a pop singer's intimacy — a voice built for the earphone and the sing-along.
