Baba Sehgal
Baba Sehgal's Thanda Thanda Pani (1992), a Hindi take on Ice Ice Baby, was India's first rap hit and sold in the millions on Magnasound; Main Bhi Madonna, Aaja Meri Gaadi Mein Baith Ja, Dil Dhadke and the film Miss 420 followed, and he has since rapped in Telugu films and on the internet with the same cheerful absurdity.
