Sulakshana Pandit
Sulakshana Pandit sang for Hindi films from childhood and had her best-known song, Tu Hi Sagar Hai Tu Hi Kinara in Sankalp (1975) for Khayyam, before an acting career — Uljhan, Sankoch, Hera Pheri, Dharam Kanta — took her away from the microphone. She returned to singing with Yesudas duets in Sawan Ko Aane Do and Payal Ki Jhankaar.
