Jaganmoy Mitra was a Bengali singer and composer, famous for the song-letter Chithi and for Kamal Dasgupta's songs; in Bombay he was known as Jagmohan Sursagar.

He sang many film and non-film songs for Kamal Dasgupta and composed Pyar Ki Yeh Talkhiyan, sung by Lata Mangeshkar in the Hindi film Sardar (1955).
